After many years photographing for foundations, schools and nonprofits across the country, as well as editorial work focusing on children, education and social issues, Susie is now documenting education in Seattle. She is now working primarily with the Seattle Public Schools (K-12), Writers in the Schools and various outdoor education and nature programs.  Doing so provides a rich library of current images which she licenses for editorial and educational uses.

Over the course of her career Susie’s work has been featured in LIFE magazine, People, the Washington Post Magazine and in many publications about education and health care. Her work has also been included in the photographic books The Family of Children, Time-Life Books’ Photographing Children; Athletes and The Dog – 100 Years.
